Zoom workouts or youtube videos were probably the most used platforms to keep people engaged to keep moving but it still wasn’t the same as being in the gym. Sometimes you need that person to push you a little past your comfort level or maybe you just miss the social aspect of being around people while getting your workout in at the same time!

Not to put down working out online, but sometimes that isn’t so easy for someone living with a progressive/chronic disease such as Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis who may not get the same benefit from these type of workouts that the “average” person might.

Using the Urban poles, you activate more muscles than traditional walking alone. It helps individuals walk more comfortably, more stable and helps to make steps more effective. It helps to promote an upright posture, better balance, increased endurance and an increase in confidence. You can take the poles anywhere, incorporate stretching and strengthening exercises with them, and help improve symptoms with your “disease”.
